Space On Stage is a serial format of events and a theater-based strategy for the INAF (National Institute of Astrophysics in Italy) museum. It is a cultural experience, based on the bond with the viewer and the empathic involvement of it.
Scientific dissemination, normally entrusted to men of the sector, takes a new form: the explanation of astrophysical phenomena is mediated from storytelling techniques implemented by professional actors. From the union of space and theater, a new professional figure emerges: the space-actor.
The process blueprint below represents the project divided by public engagement phases. On Stage events are about direct interaction with the public, Back Stage events are about actors and activities that give life to On Stage actions.
